The Board received an
update from Moffett Elementary School, presented by Principal Mrs. Michelle Brady, second-grade teacher Mrs. Fantel, and student leaders, highlighting the school’s strong PBIS implementation and commitment to building a positive campus culture through its C.A.R.E. values: Considerate, Always Safe, Respect and Responsibility, and Excellence. The presentation showcased how clear expectations, consistent reinforcement, and schoolwide recognition systems, including C.A.R.E. tickets and the Mustang Market rewards program, support positive student behavior and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Board members also learned about Moffett’s structured PBIS team, ongoing assemblies, and data-driven approach to reviewing behavior trends and planning improvements. With 100% staff involvement and all grade levels participating in the Mustang Market, C.A.R.E. is embedded throughout the school community. The presentation concluded with student leaders presenting Board members with C.A.R.E. tickets and Moffett bracelets, reflecting the Mustang community's pride and unity.
