Agnes Smith Elementary School is a vibrant and diverse school community. It is my pleasure to serve the students, parents, and community as principal. Our goal at Smith is to create a welcoming school climate where students receive high-level, rigorous, 21st-century education. We have an excellent, innovative, and experienced staff here.  Beyond academic standards, we pride ourselves on ensuring that students are learning kindness and respect both in the classroom and in all other areas of campus.  We believe it is our responsibility to prepare students both academically and socially for their future successes. 

There are many great opportunities for parents to be involved on campus. You can volunteer in your child's classroom, become a member of the PTA, or volunteer at one of the many events we have each year. Please consider joining the Smith PTA. This amazing organization pays for our field trips, many of our school-wide technology programs, and numerous other items that directly benefit our students. This organization supports the great work being done here at Smith and makes much of it possible.  Smith is a wonderful school and I  look forward to another great school year where our surfers continue to ride the wave to success!
