Igniting Young Minds to Reach for a Bright Future

Recognizing Girl Scout Troop 7366’s Impact on Our Preschool Academy

Posted Date: 2/20/25 (11:04 PM)

At Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD), we are grateful for the incredible community partnerships that enrich our students’ learning experiences! We are thrilled to recognize Girl Scouts Troop 7366, Orange County SU305, for their ongoing partnership with our Preschool Academy. This is the second time they generously contributed their time and skills to enhance our program.

Previously, the troop built a Buddy Bench to promote friendship and inclusion on our campus. Most recently, they constructed five garden beds that our preschoolers will use this May to explore the lifecycle of plants and flowers and the diversity of plant species. Hands-on learning experiences like this help spark curiosity and connect students to the world around them!

A special connection makes this project even more meaningful—one of the Girl Scouts, Rylee, is the daughter of our instructor, Mrs. Anna Chen, and a proud Seacliff alumna. Seeing former students give back to our schools is a testament to the strength of our community.

Thank you, Troop 7366, for your dedication and support!
